FAFS-Ahhhhh!

With college looming over my brain, I can't help but stress about financial aid and scholarships lately. I need to get crack-a-lackin' on some scholarships but it's hard to know where to start! There are so many out there and a lot of them require the FAFSA to be done, which mine is not. My mom and I planned to go to the meeting on Monday to help us out.

I feel so discouraged because a lot of scholarships will require a 1200 on the SATs or a 4.0 GPA, but I have neither. And then they will say things like "outstanding academic record" and to me, that means the same thing. I have filled out the basic scholarship that every first year can fill out online for SRU and it was easy enough. I have a list of scholarships at home my mom wants me to start and she's right. It's just scary and hard to accept that I'll be in college soon and my life will change forever.
