안녕하세요! This week I've really focused on making the transition to a new video editing software, Adobe Premiere. If you are familiar with some video editing terms (what the mean) or even if you know final Cut Pro REALLY WELL, that's only going to get you a quarter of the way into maneuvering through the cluttered maze that is Adobe Premiere...😬 The layout of the program is really different in comparison to Final Cut, not to mention the keyboard controls, if you're used to applying those as shortcuts when editing. So here is what I suggest for those wanting to tackle this program: throw everything you know about Final Cut Pro out the window and use this as a chance to start from scratch and learn even more about post-production. Don't try to learn everything on your own, look up tutorials online to teach you what things mean and how to use them. It'll be A LOT less stressful and make things easier for you in the long run. It may be overwhelming at first, but it's for the best. KEEP IN MIND that this one of the top editing programs that professionals in the industry are using today, and consider it a great opportunity for you to experience first-hand a more elaborate and technical software! In conclusion, good luck and happy ALF!
