As evident from my other blog posts, what I want to do after I graduate was pretty uncertain. I had multiple different ideas and have no clue which one was best for me and which one I would be most successful at. In English class, we were writing resumés which was easy for me. Then, we were to write a faux college application letter. I needed to come up with a college to apply to, and I realized I didn't have a real idea. I had multiple ones in my radar, and still do, but I still had no idea which degree to pursue. Should I choose human resources, hospitality management, entertainment management, or public relations? I had so many options and no real direction.
After talking to my sister and doing research of my own, I've decided to pursue a career in entertainment management. I've been looking a lot into Point Park. They have a great SAEM (Sports Arts Entertainment Management) program and I really like the idea of living in the city. Mrs. O suggested Thiel College because I can get scholarships through ASL. Whichever I choose, I am so happy I finally decided on a major!!! I'm finally feeling a bit of relief about my future plans.
I'm starting to look at scholarships, and once I get an idea of what college I'm going to, I am going to start seriously applying for some.
Talk to you later with more updates!!
