Time to get on the runway and stop running away

Although I want to attend college, I have also been interested in modeling. I have finally decided that I am ready to put the work and time into it. A few of my friends that are already in the modeling field recommended me for the Barbizon acting and modeling agency but after researching that specific company I do not think thats what I am looking for. Barbizon requires you to go through a modeling/acting school and requires a lot more money put into it, when you're not even guaranteed success. What I want is to be able to have a successful modeling career in the most cost efficient way. After reading an article, "How to Get Scouted By A Modeling Agency," on Forbes.com, I have a better insight on what I am actually looking for. My First step: Getting connected.
