I DID IT!

So, as most of you know, for the past like two months I have been working on this huge scholarship. I got all of my requirements for it done except for the personal essay. Let me tell you, that thing was hard. Not only was a research essay, but it was so specific, and I was limited to 500 words. I tried three different topics before finally roping in some help. I wanted to talk about environmental issues but wasn't sure how to go about it. Shoutout to Doug for helping me. He was a real life saver. So, I just finished that and I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Hopefully all of this work pays off because this scholarship would be a great one to win. Now, all I have to do is hit the submit button and mail in my three letters of recommendation along with my high school transcripts and guidance counselor form. I'm also going to do another scholarship that I got for being in the top 20% of my class, and hopefully I get that one too. Any bit of money helps. I can't believe that in three months I will be graduating. And soon, I will be saying "I did it" again. Good luck to all of you in your independent projects. Stay gold (:
